Finally! 

Finally, I have did it!!! I believe my family and A are proud of me. Even though Im not a honors student, Im still a degree student once before. Let the unhappy events to be the pass and SO Im looking forward to my future. 

Everything is good so far and Im enjoying my life.

Wedding Hair Styles

Hello!

Not sure if anyone is still reading this space. Just to update a few random stuffs that has happened for the past week or so.

1. A is back from his sailing. ^^

2. Have been surrounding with good food (buffet somemore) = weight gain = : x

3. Settled with our ROM date already. WOOHOO!

4.Got our rings engraved. Left with mostly preparation of miscellaneous stuffs. 

5. Caught despicable me II! Made my lousy day a good one.

6. A is off SG and having his holiday. While I work hard in SG. Haha!

7. Planning for our house, which I enjoyed the most with A. I love planning this, especially sth that is of so much importance to the both of us. 

8. Enjoyed working, except for some very minimal annoying things.

Second Half 2013

Hello!!!

Its the second half of the year now. Time is really passing so fast and somehow I have started work for a month plus. So far, Im liking my job! Life was so far so good for me! I can feel the change of luck in me now. ^^ Just feeling really happy and excited almost all days. 

Dear is back from sailing again, but he is flying off soon for his holiday trip. Apparently, I was supposed to be flying on the same dates and to the same place; not with him. So nice that my office have a ceremony to attend and I will be missing this trip with the whole department. Have been travelling around Singapore to attend meetings and events, something which Im enjoying however not the unnecessary spending on transport.

Saw this quote from someone. This is what im going through right now. =) A long waiting results will be coming soon. So the worst will be over soon. I know its tough as I have been through that and I am trying and tried to be forward looking as much as possible. Along the way, there will always be people judging you or giving you some comments, so try your very best to ignore. I, myself find it hard not to but still try your very best to ignore. =)

#5 - The Question

Finally, A has asked for my hand from my parents after long long talks and brainwashing. Really all thanks to my (paternal) aunties and godmum. They are all very very supportive with it as well, so it all makes it a go for everything. Good Good! So we have decided to have our ROM first and 2 years later for our customary dinner. Now is all the planning. Will work it out somewhere in July and do a little updates here.

Me: I cant control. I need to dig it now and you cant possibly ask me to hide in the toilet / corner to just dig my nose ma. HEEHEE.

Mid Of June

Hello People!

Its already in the mid of june. Half years just flew by and I have yet to enjoy as much as I could. Because..

1. I have not much savings left before my work commences

2. My friends are mostly busy with their life and to be frank it quite hard to meet all of them at once. So usually we meet in pairs

3. Im saving as much as I could = I cannot go out often = to lesser social life & networking

4. Planning for our house and wedding 

5. Actively searching for a perm job ever since I unofficially graduate in DEC

So it has been a month in my job. I am still so loving it!!! Just that the travel fees are too much for my bank to handle. HAHA! Another 5.5 probation months to go. A lot to learn and I am learning new knowledge each day, which I really enjoyed so much as compare to my 2.5 yrs in uni. On the side note, fiancé is out sailing for one month and I have yet to see him since early June. So I couldnt share with him lots of things. But then, I have this habit of writing him letters everyday when he is away for sailing. Each day one and so far I think I have wrote almost close to 100 or more? ^^


p/s: cannot wait for his return!

五月天 concert 2013!

五月天 诺亚方舟 世界巡回演唱会 

I have been waiting for this concert for so so long!!! This is the ever first concert ticket which I bought it personally, the other concert that I attended are either given or lucky draw. Im proud of it, because I hesitated for a long time before purchasing it. Furthermore, ITS MAYDAY! I know I very niao over this as I find that I have some other more important things that I need to do. But anyway I finally brought it! ^^

I don know who and where to share my joy right now. Sometimes I really feel that I have over shared my feelings with people and they tends to find me super whinny. However, there are times when Im caught in the middle, whereby friends needed my help, I will definitely extend it that is within my limits and was hoping they will just give me a thank you and I will be so contented. Unfortunately, some are just not appreciative lor. So Im in the dilemma of whether to help them or not in the future. 

If help, they don know how to appreciate my hard work. If never, I feel bad not sharing. 

So usually and sadly to say that I will end up sharing but turn out im the one being black listed. WTS right! Thats life, but I do believe in Karma lah. Better don play play.

Recapping Resolution

1. At last, I have started working since mid May. Couldnt be any happier! =D

2. Have been learning something new each day.

3. Met new friends at work! =D

4. Love my job so far, which makes me happy! ^^

5. Oops! Its already June. So, somehow we have finalized our ROM date already. However, I worry that last minute things might might crop up. So lm thinking of sharing it here at a later date. =) Currently, we have settle our bridal shop, ROM venue as well. Just a simple dinner with our immediate family only. Our banquet will be held two years later which I don know when too. HAHA.

Over the Last Week of May

Mmmm.... So where do I even start from?

Declaration: Very wordy post ahead.

Last week of May, was fruitfully spent! I have officially started work and my second week is coming to an end before June starts. Job was great! Colleague are super nice! My first ever perm job experience was good thus far, as I will be assigned out to other location where I will be spending my next 6 mths with them. Met most of the colleagues, they were all very friendly and nice! However, for one. BUT is okay! Probably that was not a good day for this person. 

p/s: I need to maintain the positive energy!

Second week into my induction programe and somehow I am feeling the "missed" because we will be spitting our ways real soon. =( Hope we could still catch up with each other after our OJT. Have been busy catching up all the emails and spending my weekends fully. Rather than sleeping my day off and yet not to over spent as I only left with $100 to survive till end of June! Die lah~~~ Got to bring bread everyday to work for lunch. =X

So over the last weekend, attended my friend's baby's 1st bd celebration! 

It was really heart warming to see so many relatives and friends came down for this occasion.

I feel more like a real aunty now. Gosh.. =X But Im really happy to see them having a family of their own! Me wan too! LOL!!!! Im just insane and naive to talk about family now. HAHA. Anyways, hereby wishes Phoebe Happy Birthday! ^^

A random pictures with my cousin. I really loves playing with him, but sometimes he can gets on my nerve men! Stubborn and show attitudes. HAHA! How I could dream on that I have a younger sibling so i could have a playmate. Sometimes, I wonder if I love kids or I just love to entertain them. Because taking care of toddlers like this age is not an easy job for an entire life leh. All rounder commitments (financial, physical, emotional & educational). Not easy to be a parents this era.

Navy Open House 2013

In short they call it as NOH'13. 

This entire week or even month, A was really really busy with his job. It is a good thing that something is keeping him busy so that there isnt any urge to meet him. Additionally, my job is commencing coming Monday! Excited and nervous.... Like finally, I am moving slowly and closer to my priority in life now. Woohoo!!

Alright, Im moving away from the post.

So having to met Cecilia at Expo hall 3 for the shuttle bus. The queue is just so so crazy! We started queuing from 1015 and we could only board the shuttle bus at 1200. I mean it. So people who are interested to head there tml please be well prepared that the queue will be that long.

Apologies for the blur photo. As we were constantly moving in the queue. Thats one of the pros because they are really efficient and systematic. There are security checks as well. So carry light. =)

Finally! After 2 hours of waiting and moving, we arrived at Changi Naval Base! So happy and excited! ^^ I was in a awkward look because the sudden wind and super sticky feeling i have after the long wait. 

Into the Workforce

No photo to substitute for this week... rather a short post of what I have been up to for the first half week before my official perm job commence next week.

1. Monday: Slacking at home; help my mum dye her hair

2. Tuesday: When for some scan and check my phone. Thought it was faulty, lucky it was the charging wire. 

3. Wednesday: When for my health check and met E for late lunch cum dinner + desserts.

Wedding Bells are heard in April!

Was really excited to attend a friend's wedding! I meant like my secondary friend because to us its like a get together thing. Having to attend our friend wedding together with my clique of friends! ^^

Cabbed down. We were quite late because I couldnt get onto one. =X

Didnt expect we could meet together over this function. =D

The food was fantastic. I couldnt say its the 100% authentic malay cuisine but ever dishes are almost there. The desserts are nice too!!!

A Year Wiser: Bf's Day

Happy Birthday My Dearest! ^^

Its your Birthday, yet I treated it as mine. HAHA! Happy Happy Birthday My Dear! This is the 5th year to celebrate your bd together. Every year is a different celebration, hope we could spend more simple time like this with your loves ones too. ^^ Maybe next year would be different? =P

Under the Sea.Ocean.Aquarium

This is the first time I ever been to "underwater world" sentosa, apparently they are now called the SEA Aquarium right. During one of the weekends having to attend a wedding talk held at Sentosa, we decided to leave the seminar early. Passed by SEA aquarium and A suggested to take a trip in there. However, the queue was super super long. So we gave up the idea and headed home instead. 

So he planned to visit the aquarium a few days later. =)

April/May agenda

If you have been reading this humble little space of mine and knowing that I have unofficially graduated since my last paper in December that I am looking for job all around this little red dot. Its not an easy task for me especially being a passed degree holder graduate. So what that I am from a local uni. - People like me with no testimonial nor any good grade seems to be much harder than any others. Thats from my POV. Don mistaken me. 

However, finally with my passion and interest and somehow my strengths. I secured a job during mid of April and will officially start work in mid May! Surely very excited and cannot wait for it to happened. As it means to the start of next chapter in life! Woohoo! Now, I could only pray that everything will be smooth! ^^

So I have been researching, searching and planning for both my job and the wedding. 

Got my job now as aforementioned. While for wedding, we finally made a simple decision of (intending) having our ROM first. However, due to some small personal issue we are not having the banquet so soon. We just settled our bridal package today and Im loving the service they are providing so far. Gowns are nice. So hope I could find "the dress".  This are just words and TBC. 

Could only share this much as they have TBC first then TBA. I don want to disappoint myself nor you, readers (if there is). =)

Thus far, these were the agendas in April and early May.

Hence, for the next few May Weeks:

1. Get my hair fix (if if possible)

2. Body check up

3. Signing job contract

4. Alex's bd.

5. New job starts!

6. Start wearing heels

7. Meeting friends

8. Try sample grad robe

A: *Semi-conscious* Huh...~~~ *touch the other side of the bed* I have a lot of space leh.

Me: *roll eyes* I need space! Move to the other side of the bed please~~~ *push him away*

A: oh oh~~~

Eventually, he just moved only one feet away. Aiyo...

Small Little Reminders #1; #2; #3

I am thinking about sharing some little things A and I talked about in our life on my blog for the past few years but somehow I didnt have the guts to do it as I find them too personal. I guess? On the other hand, I would like to post it here as a note to myself that couple need not do fancy things just to spice up their rs. Rather little things that are happening everyday has already shown a lot. So I would not take things for granted lah! =P

What really triggers my thought of this is because I guess I have already met the one. Everyone has been telling me that A is the one for me, though he is unromantic, straight-forward and blockheaded. HAHA! He is just unexpressive, while I am the opposite. So somehow, for these past few years he really did tone me down a lot. Im like so boring now can. However, Im trying to live and love my life and for others (in some ways).

Anyway, here are some conversation we had for the past few years of which I could still recall.

#1: Aircon-Freezing

Woke up in the middle of the night, turned and saw A curl up like a hamster. Covered blanket over him and give him a warm hug. Then minutes later, got out of bed and trying to switch off the Air-con. *Shits* Controller spoiled. 

Me: *shivering; climb back to bed* Dear, i cant switch off the air-con. Remote spoil.

A: Huh? huh? Orh. You try try. *went back to sleep and cover his head*

Me: Arggg. Went out to another room and took the remote discreetly. Switch off. Went back to sleep under the blanket. 

The next morning, told him what happened.

A: Did I even said that?? HAHA!

#2: Self-obsessed

A: *Look at the mirror* Wa! Why I so handsome?

Me: rolled eyes and laughed! 

#3: Proposal Flowers

Me: No flowers for proposal?

A: No reply; walk out of the room quietly and sent me a sunflower emoji via watsapp. 

Me: BAHAHA! Okay lah. Quite cute. ^^

#2 FoodLog: SteamSia

Met up for food again before my official work day gonna start. Trying to save as much as possible if possible, in other words not spending money unnecessarily these days.

So met up E for food. This time round, I am introducing her this western cum asian cruise location between farrer park and little india. Called SteamSia. Unfortunately, they will be shifting soon. Here we are searching for the location (5 Hindoo Rd), walking down little india street. We reached there about 3pm as mentioned from their portal that launching hrs is from 3. BUT BUT BUT, they only open at 4? =(

Headed over to City Square Mall to rest and have a quick bites.

Dried Cranberries/Golden Raisins/ Cheese Ruffles Cookies

This is my first try on cookies and I really like the texture and taste a lot! Not oily and too sugar for me. Plus I love cranberries and raisins and chip so I added them in the mixture. ^^

Will be passing them around this days. =)

Night Cycle @ East

Night Cycling from Punggol Park to Punggol Promenade was quite a long way but relaxing one! Having to stay home for so long and worrying for so long! Finally I got a huge stone off my shoulder because I have secure a job! So so happy! Additionally, they have explained the job scope to me and somehow from my understanding its the kind of job that I am interested in. Thank you friends who congrats me and wish me the best!!! =DD
