Toddlers Busy Bag

It is simply awesome to have a support mummies group! Especially when you met ppl who are really nice, sharing and caring! So then we created a multiple mummy group = mummies who have more than 1 kid. We all decided committing into doing a busy bag for our toddlers.

Each mummy will have to do a set of 10 busy bags. It is very fortunate that some mummies did slightly more than required.

So this is my final work for the kids. Hope my boy likes them!

Importantly, the busy bags to keep them busy during car rides, dinner or any events.

Was brainstorming what can I do so as not to have duplicated ideas with other mummies. Then I have deciding threading on shapes or animals + chenille stick slotting

Printed out the items first and then tracing them on the foams sheets. You can get more ideas from here. I chose some animals, vehicles and shapes which the kids are able to recognize at this stage.

Cut them out. I squeezed them closely so not to waste any areas.

Make used of a normal puncher to punch the holes.

Use the tip of any pen to even out the unsighted area.

Traced the outer lining and added some details for visual effects.

Repeat the same methods on other foam sheets

 Completed half of it.

AND... Im done with all the foam sheets. Ready to pack them in the ziplock bags.

This was the second activity i did. Without any effort. Shameless to say.

The plastic cups and covers are too flimsy, hope they could last under the toddlers hand. At least 2 months? Haha. I brought the chenille sticks from daiso. Cut them into half then they are done.

Im ready for the exchange!

Hope this helps some mummies to occupy your kids.
