BTO Key Collection 2017

Hello Everybody!

It has been slightly more than a four year wait. Received a very good news from HDB for our house key collection! I have been refreshing and revisiting the web to see any updates as we are brought to know that our house will be ready by end of December 2016.

Indeed, this long tedious wait is finally over.

Collected our keys on 17 January 2017.

Followed by it will be CNY break. We still have not decided to have the whole house vinyl or titles or mixture at the point of time. If we go for vinyl, then we got to quickly inform HDB on the option for floor screeding. It will be free, otherwise it will incur extra costs in the renovation.

Our appointment was 9.15am and we reached ON TIME. 

We reached on time. As the usual procedure to collect a queue number, while waiting for your number to be called. We proceed to purchase our fire insurance at level 1. Took about 10 to 15mins to get it completed. We are the early few, hence the waiting time was short. Once we are done with the insurance, our number was called.

SO, EXCITED! FINALLY COLLECTED OUR KEYS AFTER SUCH A LONG WAIT!

Terrible face but never mind. I am happy to see our keys! Will be a house slave for the next 25 years till we pay up the house loan.

We consulted our Feng Shui Master for door opening. Waited for a few days after, we brought our boy along to see the flat.

 No house tour on this. Just our open concept kitchen and dining area.

Next few days brought MM along for checking house defects.

It will then be waiting for the defects to be rectified. This will take about 2 to 3 weeks later. Will share on our defects check again.

Date checked, its 1^st Feb and submitted our first defect check list.
